About the Opportunity
Based in Henderson, theWeld and NDT Coordinatorwill be responsible for coordinating NDT activities for welding and fabrication works, ensuring compliance with quality requirements, codes, standards and project specifications, while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting effective communication between production, QA/QC and NDT providers.

What's Involved
Coordinate and schedule NDT activities to meet production and project deadlines.
Liaise with internal teams, third-party NDT providers and inspectors.
Ensure welding inspections and NDT activities comply with relevant codes and standards.
Review NDT reports for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
Maintain NDT records, registers and quality documentation.
Track weld traceability and inspection status across multiple projects.




Support the development and implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
Identify and escalate non-conformances while promoting quality, safety and environmental compliance.
You'll Need
Experience coordinating welding inspections and NDT activities within shipbuilding, fabrication or heavy industry.
Ability to interpret welding drawings, WPS, ITPs and relevant technical standards.
Knowledge of applicable industry standards, including AS/NZS, ISO and AWS.
Strong understanding of weld traceability, inspection processes and quality requirements.
Proven attention to detail with accurate documentation and record management skills.
Effective communication skills with the ability to coordinate internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QA/QC or quality management systems
CSWIP Welding Inspector or equivalent certification.

Experience in defence, marine or naval shipbuilding projects.

Previous experience coordinating third-party inspection services.
