Steel Diamond has an opportunity for a trade qualified Pipefitter to join their growing team.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be part of an enthusiastic and passionate team in a rapidly growing company.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Read, interpret, and fit-up spooling and supports from fabrication drawings
Shaping pipe branch connections including trunnion/dummy leg connections
Assist Workshop Manager with checking fabricated spooling and supports prior to release for testing and surface treatment
Uphold safety standards and maintain a secure working environment
Requirements:




Trade certificate (fabrication)
Demonstrated ability to understand and follow isometric drawings
Demonstrated ability to understand and follow flange inclination tables
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of piping and structural fabrication and testing - carbon steel, stainless steel and duplex stainless steel; typically, 1⁄2" through to 42"
Understanding of welding/fabrication quality requirements
Must be able to follow directions and work effectively to perform the work in a productive manner
