Must have advanced knowledge of Head Contracts and Subcontracts on $100m plus projects.
Must have sound knowledge of the BIF Act Qld.
Must have proven previous completed projects
Must be able to direct and write scopes of works for all trades with help of the site manager
Must be able to coordinate Junior CA and admin staff
ability in managing contract performance, project budgets, budget dissection and taking full ownership of project cost control and project reporting, in addition to a working knowledge of the QLD Security of Payments Act.

The Responsibilities:
Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules
Participate in scope of works planning, ensuring that scope gaps are minimised, cost efficiencies are maximised
Negotiate contract terms and conditions with subcontractors, ensuring all contractual obligations under the subcontract are maintained and administered
Support and co-ordinate the review and timely approval (or dispute) of payment claims submitted by subcontractors for the project and preparation of Payment Schedules (Security of Payments Act)
Review legitimacy of, and undertake the assessment of,
subcontractor variations in conjunction with the construction teams
Implementation of forecasting and cost control processes / strategy
Produce timely and accurate cost analysis to understand the basis of any variance (positive or negative) and provide early warning when forecasts deviate from budget
Create and manage all cost control and trade package and PCG reports.
Actively build strong relationships with key stakeholders and manage ongoing communication, inclusive of regular reporting and meetings
Ideal Skills/Experience
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Procurement, Law, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction or similar
Minimum 10 years' experience in similar role the High-Rise Residential Construction space
Demonstrated experience working as a Contracts Administrator for a mid-tier or upper tier Construction Company
Solid knowledge of contract administration of both Head and Subcontracts
Procore/Aconex experience is highly advantageous but not essential
Well-developed research, analytical and problem-solving skills to gather and compile information, develop reports and produce high quality documentation utilising appropriate software
High level interpersonal and communication skills to write reports, general project communications and to successfully develop and manage stakeholder relationships
