The Opportunity
We are currently speaking with General Medicine Registrars and Basic Physician Trainees interested in training within a well-established regional referral hospital in South Australia.
The service manages a broad spectrum of acute inpatient presentations across a large regional catchment.
Registrars benefit from close consultant supervision, meaningful clinical responsibility and strong integration with Emergency and critical care services.
This role is well suited to BPTs seeking hands-on regional experience within a supportive and structured environment.The Hospital
This is a key regional hospital of approximately 100 beds serving the Limestone Coast and surrounding communities.
The General Medicine service provides:
• Acute inpatient General Medicine
• Strong Emergency Department interface
• ICU / HDU capability
• Subspecialty outreach links
• Consultant-led supervision
The hospital participates in regional RACP training rotations, supporting Basic Physician Training within a cooperative and accessible consultant team.

Requirements
• AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
• RACP Basic Physician Trainee or registrar-level General Medicine experience
• Minimum 12 months recent hospital-based General Medicine experience
• International Medical Graduates assessed by RACP as partially or substantially comparable, or preparing to lodge assessment
