We are on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our expanding residential team.
As a Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of residential developments, commercial refurbishments and hotel renovation projects across the Cairns area.
Working closely with Site Supervisors, subcontractors and clients, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to high standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage projects from commencement through to handover.
Review plans, specifications and project documentation.
Prepare quantity take-offs.
Develop and monitor project programmes and construction schedules.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
Manage project budgets, variations and cost control.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, safety and progress.
Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, Australian Standards and company procedures.
Liaise with clients, certifiers and relevant authorities.




Identify and resolve project issues to maintain project timelines.
Prepare project reports and maintain accurate documentation.
Work closely with Site Supervisors and the Construction Manager to deliver successful project outcomes.
Based in our Cairns office with regular site visits across projects.
About You
Previous Project Management experience within the residential and/or commercial construction industry.
Prior construction experience needed.
Solid knowledge of construction methods and project delivery.
Experience managing project programmes, budgets and variations.
Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
Current Australian Driver Licence.
Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Building or a related discipline (preferred).
