We are seeking a Program Worker, Connecting Home to join our team on a Part-Time Fixed Term basis in Lismore to help make a positive social change, together.
The Connecting Home youth team works closely with other stakeholders to ensure wrap-around support and understands the importance of strengthened family, social and cultural connection.

What You'll Be Doing
Work collaboratively with Young People to resolve their housing issues.
Provide intake, assessment and brief intervention supports to Young People as they access the Connecting Home service.
Be part of a multidisciplinary team providing holistic support to Young People Develop your skills and knowledge in undertaking assessments and implementing brief evidence-based interventions
What We're Looking For
Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in health, psychology, social work, social science or social welfare, health promotion or similar Experience providing high quality customer-centred individual case management with young people.
Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills,



with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with all people to ensure effective relationships Demonstrated well-developed organisational, time management and administrative skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines Demonstrated experience in maintaining professional boundaries while engaging in person-centred work
