About the Role
We are seeking an experiencedMechanical Fitterto support the maintenance and reliability of our plastic recycling production equipment.
This is acasual/part time/full time/contract positions with flexible working hours, ideal for a skilled tradesperson who can assist with machine maintenance, repairs, and mechanical adjustments as required.
Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanicalmaintenance and repairson recycling production equipment
BladeSharpening, Replacement & Inspection
Assist with preventative maintenance andequipment troubleshooting
Supportmachine setup,adjustmentsandOperational Optimisation
Maintain safe operation of plant and equipment
Record basic maintenance activities as required
Requirements
Experience working withindustrial or manufacturing machinery
Trade qualification asMechanical Fitter / Maintenance Fitter / Plant Mechanicpreferred
Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is an advantage
Strong attention to detail and mechanical problem-solving skills
Forklift License preferred
Commitment to workplace safety
Reliable and able to work independently
Legal right to work in Australia
