Clisby is a South Australian engineering company specialising in the sales, service and manufacture of air compressors, filtration, storage and process equipment.
We are located in the western suburbs of Adelaide and have a full-time opportunity available for a Factory All-Rounder / Workshop Labourer to join our team.
This is a diverse, hands-on role where no two days are the same.
The majority of your time will be spent working in our workshop assisting with production, housekeeping and general factory duties.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, willing to learn and happy to help wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities
General workshop and factory labouring duties
Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop
Loading, unloading and moving materials using a forklift
Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch
Collection and delivery of goods as required
Grounds keeping and general housekeeping
Assist with assembly and repairs of air compressors and associated equipment
Assist tradespeople with mechanical and fabrication work
Occasional MIG welding and spray painting (experience is an advantage but not essential)
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
About You
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in doing a good job.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current Forklift Licence (essential)
Current Driver's Licence with a good driving record
Comfortable driving a manual vehicle
Basic experience using hand and power tools
Good mechanical aptitude
Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn
Reliable, punctual and able to work unsupervised when required
Positive communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Physically fit and capable of manual handling
Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering or workshop environment will be highly regarded.
Experience with spray painting, welding, mechanical assembly or repairs is desirable but not essential.
Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Stable working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:06 pm (no weekend work)
