As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, handling enquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring every customer interaction reflects our commitment to excellence.
This position plays a vital role in building long-term customer relationships and contributing to the overall success of ABT Supplies (SA) Pty Ltd.
Key responsibilities
Responding to customer enquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels in a timely and qualified manner
Resolving customer complaints and issues efficiently, escalating complex matters when necessary
Processing customer orders, transactions, and requests accurately and promptly
Providing product and service information to customers to help them make informed decisions
Maintaining detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
Following company procedures and quality standards to ensure consistent service delivery
Identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services where appropriate
Collaborating with other departments to ensure customer needs are met effectively
Continuously seeking feedback and suggesting improvements to customer service processes
What we're looking for




Proven experience in a customer service or customer-facing role, ideally within a call centre or similar environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate information clearly and professionally
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving customer issues
Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and other relevant software applications
Patience, empathy, and genuine interest in delivering outstanding customer experiences
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and accuracy in recording information and processing transactions
Reliability and a strong work ethic with a commitment to meeting performance targets
Team player mentality with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
Relevant qualifications in customer service or business communication are advantageous
Previous experience in the supplies industry or a related field would be beneficial
