The successful candidate will need to be able to complete the following tasks confidently.
Heavy Manual Handling – Unloading Cars / Utes / trailers of scrap metal items for recycling.
Candidates must be able to lift *****kg regularly as part of daily duties.
Sort and identify different metals, or a willingness to learn how to identify.
Unloading Cars of Bottles and Cans.
Sorting & separation of Aluminium cans, Plastic & Glass bottles etc
Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
Maintaining yard Housekeeping & cleanliness.
Ability to work outdoors in all conditions – Rain, Hail or Shine.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Robust communication & customer service Skills are a must.
Overall, willingness to learn and grow within our business.
Expected work hours are between the hours Monday to Friday ***********.
Sometime weekend work may be required.
Industry experience not essential but will be looked at favourably.
Forklift Licence will also be looked at favourably.
