What You Will Be Doing
As a Trainer & Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessments to mining personnel across both classroom and operational site environments.
You will support workforce development by ensuring participants gain the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to perform their roles safely and effectively.

The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For
Delivering engaging classroom-based training sessions and practical site-based assessmentsConducting inductions, refresher training, and competency assessmentsCoaching and mentoring personnel to improve capability and performance on siteAssessing participant competency in accordance with nationally recognised standards and training packagesMaintaining accurate training records, assessment documentation, and compliance requirementsDelivering training in areas including Site Inductions, Area Familiarisations, Working at Heights, Confined Space, LVR/CPR, First Aid, CABA/SCSR,



and other mining-related competencies within your scope of expertise Supporting secure work practices and promoting a strong safety culture across mining operationsWorking closely with site leaders and operational teams to identify and address training needsEnsuring all training is delivered in accordance with RTO, legislative, and client requirements
What You Will Need
Minimum 3 years' experience within the Trainer Assessor Underground Coal Mining sectorHighly regarded TAE***** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or higher)Proven training facilitation experienceCurrent Coal Board MedicalCurrent Underground Standard 11Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor personnelStrong communication, presentation and time-management skillsSelf-motivated, reliable and safety-focused approach
