About the role
We have a great opportunity for you to join us as a Business Development Specialist.Based out of MackayQLD,you will not only be responsible for the growth and retention of select customersbut also seeking and converting new business prospects.
What you will enjoy doing
Win new and competitor gas business within your Region
Lead generation and opportunity pipeline management
Sign new customers to supply and service Agreements
Capture competitor activities and market trends within your Region
Work with local industry bodies and trade allies to represent and grow BOC and Elgas' position within the local community and industry
Support the local team to manage existing customers as required.
Deliver customer training and product demonstrations
Work together in partnership with our local teams
What makes you great
You hold excellent sales skills.
Proven experience in B2B business development or hunting-focused sales roles (gas and welding industry sales would be an advantage)
Hands on experience in preparing strategic customer action plan.
Strong prospecting, negotiation, and objection-handling capability
PC skills like MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and SAP are desirable
You possess strong understanding of price management (grow margin, pricing and profit) and solid business acumen.
Are comfortable operating in a target-driven setting
Advance presentation skills with excellent business development and influencing skills
Also, you are passionate about on-going development to enhance technical expertise in relevant field
