We are a specialised business servicing customers primarily across the Perth metropolitan area.
We are a growing business with a central workshop in Welshpool.
Our core focus is the installation of vehicle access turntables for residential and commercial projects.
Our installations are primarily on new builds, but we also work on existing buildings where we undertake multidisciplinary construction work.

Key Role Responsibilities
This role has been created to develop the successful applicant into a skilled Installer, with the opportunity to take on greater responsibility, including supporting and potentially leading installation teams as the business continues to grow.
You will receive comprehensive on-the-job training and external training where appropriate, giving you the opportunity to build a long-term career with West Coast Turntables.

The key skills you will learn and assist with during your employment include:
· Operating mini skid steers and excavators
· Excavation and laser levelling
· Operating small trucks and trailers
· Applying load restraints and undertaking basic rigging under supervision
· Forklift operation
· Workshop maintenance and logistics
· Assisting with concrete pours
· Mechanical fitting of vehicle turntables
· Light manufacturing work, including cutting, drilling, and welding
· Reading and interpreting drawings and installation procedures
· Safe use of power tools

Essential Requirements




Current White Card
Current Class C Driver's Licence or higher
Physically fit and capable of performing manual work safely
Genuine willingness to learn and develop recent skills
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Good emotional intelligence, including the ability to communicate respectfully, work well with others, and respond professionally in different situations
Reliable, punctual, and committed to producing high-quality work
Able to follow instructions while also demonstrating initiative when appropriate
Honest, trustworthy, and respectful of clients' property and fellow team members
Commitment to following WorkSafe requirements and company systems, procedures, and processes to support safe, high-quality, and efficient work practices
Who This Role May Suit
This role may suit someone who:
Is entering the workforce and may have completed a pre-apprenticeship but prefers a role that offers variety rather than a traditional trade pathway
Has previous experience in the construction or manufacturing industry and wants to broaden their skills through on-the-job and external training
Is looking to grow with the company while building their technical expertise and developing a career in the mechanical fitting and installation of complex vehicle parking systems
Desirable Skills and Experience
Previous trade courses, school-based training, or experience as a Trade Assistant
Experience in construction or manufacturing
Tickets for forklifts, skid steers, or mini excavators
Experience in concreting
Experience installing automatic gates
Basic mechanical aptitude
Experience using power tools
Work Conditions
This is a full-time position.
Casual or part-time employment may also be considered for the right applicant.
The successful applicant will be based at our Welshpool workshop and work at various project sites across the Perth metropolitan area.
