Full-time (1.0 FTE) appointment on an fixed term basis for 12 months.
Base salary range: $86,540 – $95,920 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
The Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic) sits within the University's Education portfolio and plays a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing academic quality and standards across the institution.
The team is responsible for monitoring, reporting on, and facilitating academic quality assurance activities, ensuring the University meets its obligations under the Higher Education Standards Framework and supports excellence in teaching and learning.
As part of this function, the Academic Quality Performance and Review team coordinates a program of comprehensive course reviews and school reviews that contribute to strategic planning, continuous improvement,
accountability, and institutional performance.
About the chance
Support the coordination and administration of comprehensive course reviews and school reviews, helping ensure academic quality processes are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Work closely with academic and professional stakeholders across the University to coordinate meetings, manage review logistics, prepare documentation, and support review panels.
Contribute to the preparation, collation, editing, and management of review reports and records that inform decision-making, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About you
Relevant tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Demonstrated administrative experience, ideally within a higher education, governance, quality assurance, or professional services workplace.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities, stakeholders, meetings, and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reports, agendas, minutes, and qualified correspondence.
High attention to detail, a customer-focused approach, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications,
with experience using collaboration and document management systems such as SharePoint viewed favourably.
