Kings Beach Surf Club,overlooking the iconic Kings Beach Pool is known for its quality meals, great customer service and amazing views.
The Club also manages the Pavilion Kiosk, a long-standing cafe with a loyal customer base.
The Club is seeking to fill multiple casual roles; we are looking for an experienced Bar & Gaming Attendant and a Bistro & Kiosk All-Rounder to join our friendly team!
Bar & Gaming Attendant
Primary duties include:
be able to multi-task;
providing a quality beverage experience;
deliver exceptional customer service;
working as part of the team and independently in our Bar & Gaming Room;
providing a quality gaming service; and
be able to use your initiative.
The successful applicant will have:
a minimum of 2 years' experience behind a bar -this is essential;
a minimum 1 years' experience in gaming, TAB & Keno -this is essential;
a reliable employment history;
a current QLD RSAandRSG qualification -this is essential;
availability to work days, nights, weekends, school holidays and public holidays over a 7 day roster.
Bistro & Kiosk All-Rounder
Primary duties include:
Serving food and beverage in an efficient and pleasant manner creating memorable experiences for our members and guests;
Processing all charges associated with the service of food and beverage on the POS system and report any discrepancies to the Supervisor;
Knowledge of the basic ingredients, method of preparation and presentation of all items on the menu;




Maintaining equipment, stock levels and cleanliness standards;
promoting coffee sales through delivering quality coffee products and service;
enhancing the café experience to all members and guests;
basic food preparation on some occasion
operating a cash register; and
general cleaning.
The successful applicant will have:
A minimum of 1 years' experience making coffees -this is essential;
A minimum of 1 years' experience working in a bistro environment -this is essential;
Experience preparing a variety of cold drink/coffee options;
basic food handling experience (preferred);
the ability to work on a versatile 7 day roster including week days, weekends, public holidays and school holidays;
the ability to work a wide range of hours (Kiosk hours can range from 5:30am-3:30pm, Bistro can range from 10:00am-21:00pm)
a current QLD RSA or willing to attain one -this is essential.
