The position is full time with an immediate start.

Ideally the Applicant will have a proven track record in farming.

We have received Darling Downs and Australian Cotton Growers Awards.
The Schmelzer Farms aggregation is located in reliable rainfall areas .
The area is known for having some of Australia`s highest performing farms.
The Schmelzer Farms aggregation is approximately 30 minutes drive from the towns of Dalby and Jandowae, a one and a half hour drive from the City of Toowoomba and a three hour drive from Brisbane .
Schmelzer Farms grow predominately cotton, cereals and pulses with some cattle.
This production is supported by modern John Deere and Case machinery, Boss planters and Swarmbot robotic sprayer.
On-farm accommodation is provided in a comfortable, airconditioned family home .
The yard area surrounding the home is fully fenced.
Good schools are located nearby at Jimbour and Jandowae.
The provided accommodation is on the school bus route.
Included in the salary package is a work ute, iPhone and the on-farm accommodation.
The salary package will be commensurate with experience.
Support and supervision to the successful Applicant will be provided by our Cropping and Irrigation Manager.
