About the Role
At Mayfield, we design and manufacture world-class electrical solutions, including switchboards, transportable electrical buildings, skids, and associated products.
We are seeking an experiencedElectrical building Designer / Revit BIM Designerto join our Engineering & Design team.
Duties
Develop detailed structural and construction drawings for transportable electrical buildings, including layouts, elevations, sections, cable ladders, penetrations, platforms, and stair systems.
Produce accurate engineering and design documentation in accordance with project specifications, client standards, and Australian Standards.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal production teams to ensure designs meet technical, commercial, and project requirements.
Identify design improvements, resolve technical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement in design processes and construction methods.
Lead and support the implementation of Revit BIM by creating and managing BIM families and delivering electrical building designs using Revit.
Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to the engineering team, supporting the transition from SolidWorks to Revit and assisting with team training.
Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards and the National Construction Code, including AS****, AS****, AS****, AS****, and AS****.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in drafting and design, preferably within electrical, industrial or infrastructure projects.
Advanced proficiency in Revit BIM,



AutoCAD with experience creating BIM families and producing detailed construction documentation.
Strong understanding of Australian Standards and building regulations.
Qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline.
Electrical Engineering preferred.
