ABOUT THE ROLE
Not every creative role changes lives.This one helps train the people who protect Australia.We're looking for a creative thinker with a passion for digital storytelling, video production and emerging technology to join Wodonga TAFE's Innovation team.Whether you're an experienced multimedia professional seeking a lifestyle change or a graduate already embracing AI, automation and interactive media, you'll have the opportunity to create digital learning experiences with genuine national impact.As a Multimedia Technician, you'll create engaging, interactive digital learning content that supports the National Joint Technical Trades Training System (JTTTS) for the Australian Defence Force.
Your work will be used nationally, helping train Defence personnel through innovative, high-quality multimedia.You'll join the Innovation team within Training Transformation Solutions at Wodonga TAFE, working alongside designers, educators, technologists and Defence stakeholders to bring learning to life.We are open to full-time or part time arrangements, and flexible hybrid work options can be discussed for the right candidate.
Selected Duties:
Produce high-quality video content from planning through to filming and post-production.Design engaging digital learning resources,



graphics and interactive media.Project manage multimedia development from concept through to deliveryTranslate technical information into clear, compelling digital storytellingCollaborate with internal teams and Defence stakeholders to meet project goalsExplore and apply emerging technologies such as AI tools, 3D modelling, AR/VR or simulation where appropriateProvide creative and technical advice to support innovative training solutions.
ABOUT YOU Skills & Experience

A qualification in Film Production, Multimedia or Interactive Digital Media, or equivalent professional or practical experience.Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite in a professional or project workplace.Graphic design, animation or interactive media skills, highly regarded.Experience or interest in AI tools, automation or emerging digital workflows.Knowledge of Moodle or other Learning Management Systems, desirable.Curiosity, adaptability and a desire to keep learning.
You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
