Expected salary: $25 - $30 per hour
Core Daily Responsibilities: Customer Service & Hospitality: Welcoming guests, escorting them to their tables, and presenting menus.
Waiters must anticipate guest needs, answer questions about ingredients or allergens, and address any complaints promptly.
Order Taking & Communication: Taking precise food and beverage orders (often using Point of Sale systems) and accurately relaying them to kitchen and bar staff.
Serving & Table Maintenance: Delivering food and drinks to tables, pouring beverages, and checking on the quality of dishes.




Waiters also pre-bus (clear unnecessary dishes), refill water glasses, and reset tables for the next guests.
Billing & Payments: Presenting the check at the end of the meal, processing cash or credit card transactions, and balancing the till.
Upselling & Sales: Promoting daily specials, suggesting wine pairings, and upselling appetizers or desserts to enhance the guest's experience and increase the restaurant's revenue.
Health & Safety Compliance: Strictly following food safety regulations, ensuring proper hygiene standards are met, and verifying customer IDs for alcohol consumption.
