Our client is a water infrastructure company specialising in the development, financing, construction, operation, and maintenance of large-scale water treatment projects.
Our client delivers sustainable water solutions for both municipal and industrial clients, with expertise spanning desalination plants, wastewater treatment facilities, water recycling and reuse systems, and other critical water infrastructure
What You Will Be Doing:
The role involves operating and monitoring reverse osmosis (RO) water treatment systems to ensure the effective production of treated water.
This includes overseeing pre-filtration, microfiltration, and multimedia filtration processes, managing process flows, and monitoring inlet and outlet pressures to identify and respond to any fluctuations that may affect plant performance.
Responsibilities also include conducting routine water quality testing, such as measuring pH and conductivity levels, to verify that treated water consistently meets operational and regulatory standards.
The position requires continuous monitoring of system performance and making operational adjustments where necessary to maintain water quality and treatment efficiency.
In addition, the role involves the safe handling and dosing of treatment chemicals, including chlorine, in accordance with workplace procedures and safety requirements.
Routine plant inspections are carried out to identify potential issues, with accurate completion of operational records, inspections, and reporting to support compliance, maintenance planning, and the ongoing safe operation of the facility.
What You Will Need:
3–5 years' experience operating Reverse Osmosis (RO) water treatment plants
Strong understanding of water treatment processes and plant operations
Certificate II or III in Water Operations
Plumbing or Electrical Trade Qualification
