LVL80 Cranes is a specialist engineering and construction solutions provider delivering crane, hoist, lifting, and access solutions to major infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and high-rise construction projects across Australia.
Due to continued growth in our South Australian operations, we are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our SA Critical Works team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on some of South Australia's most challenging lifting and access projects, including tower cranes, construction hoists, and associated lifting equipment.
About the Role
As an Electrician with LVL80, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, fault finding, servicing and repair of tower cranes, construction hoists and associated lifting equipment.
You will work both independently and as part of a highly skilled team, delivering safe, high-quality outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain and repair electrical systems on tower cranes, construction hoists and associated lifting equipment.
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults safely and efficiently.
Carry out scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and inspections.
Commission new equipment and support major crane and hoist installations.
Complete maintenance records and other required documentation.
Work collaboratively with electricians, riggers and technicians to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality and customer service.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role you will have:
A current Australian A-Class Electrical Licence.
Experience in industrial, construction,
heavy equipment or similar electrical environments.
Robust fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
A commitment to workplace health and safety.
A current unrestricted Driver's Licence.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Highly Desirable
Experience working with:
Tower cranes.
Construction hoists.
Lifting equipment.
Heavy mobile plant.
Industrial control systems and automation.
Previous experience within the crane and lifting industry will be highly regarded.
The Ideal Candidate

They will have a proactive approach to learning, enjoy working in a hands-on environment, and be willing to obtain aHigh Risk Work Rigging Licence.

Selection Criteria
To be considered for this position, your cover lettermustaddress each of the following selection criteria:
Your experience and qualifications as a licensed electrician.
Your experience in electrical installation, maintenance and fault finding within industrial, construction, heavy equipment or similar environments.
Any experience working with tower cranes, construction hoists, lifting equipment or heavy mobile plant (if applicable).
Your approach to workplace health and safety and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Examples demonstrating your ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Your fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
Your willingness to work overtime and travel when required.
Your interest in developing a long-term career within the crane and lifting industry, including your willingness to obtain a High Risk Work Rigging Licence.
