About the role
We are seeking aPharmacy Assistant / Retail Managerto join our team at our Woodvale location in Western Australia.
This is acasual positionthat offers flexibility whilst contributing meaningfully to our pharmacy operations.
In this dual-focused role, you will support the delivery of pharmacy services whilst also managing retail operations, inventory and customer service.
You will be instrumental in ensuring our pharmacy runs smoothly, maintains excellent standards, and provides outstanding customer experiences to our patients and customers.
Key responsibilities
Assisting registered pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with pharmaceutical standards
Managing retail stock levels, ordering, receiving and organising pharmacy products and merchandise
Processing sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handling cash and card payments
Providing friendly and professional customer service, answering enquiries about products and services
Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming pharmacy environment that meets health and safety standards
Supporting inventory management and conducting stock counts as required
Assisting with merchandising displays and promotional activities to enhance the retail experience
Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to privacy and data protection regulations
Following all pharmacy operational policies and procedures,



including health and safety protocols
Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues as needed
What we're looking for
Previous experience working in a pharmacy, retail or healthcare environment is highly desirable
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with patients and customers
Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail, particularly when handling medications and stock
Proficiency with retail point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills
Ability to work flexibly as part of a casual workforce, adapting to scheduling requirements
A reliable and trustworthy approach to work, with strong integrity and commitment to confidentiality
Physical capability to perform duties such as lifting, standing for extended periods and reaching shelving
A genuine interest in healthcare and commitment to supporting patient wellbeing
Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of pharmaceutical products and services
Valid identification and the right to work in Australia
