Brand new paediatric clinic– 3 therapy rooms + sensory/group room with climbing wall, trampolines, toys & AAC devices
$1,500 PD allowance per annum+ tailored internal training and weekly supervision
2 x paid wellness days per year+ quarterly team days and a genuinely supportive culture
About the clinicPaediatric-only service:18 months – 18 years
Clients come viaword of mouth, GP referrals and walk-insfrom nearby clinics
Director is an experiencedSpeech Pathologist (19+ years)in disability, with experience in Dubai and New Zealand
Small,multidisciplinary-minded team: Speech Pathologist, Allied Health Assistant, Paediatric Social Worker (trauma-informed) and Occupational Therapist
No hierarchy, open-door culture– learn together and support each other to support clients
The roleYou'll provideevidence-based, family-centred OTto children and young people with a range of presentations, including:
Autism and other developmental disabilities
Sensory processing and emotional regulation challenges
Fine and gross motor delays
Functional difficulties in self-care, play and school participation
Feeding and mealtime difficulties in collaboration with the wider team
Working environmentHybrid model– clinic, limited community (up to ~20km from base) and telehealth
Travel reimbursed
Option to runtelehealth sessions from home
Flexible start/finish times– including the ability to work around school hours if you have children
Day-to-dayManage apaediatric OT caseload tailored to your interests and strengths
Deliver 1:1 and group interventions in the clinic, community or via telehealth
Work closely with families, schools and other stakeholders to support functional outcomes
Use modern resources –laptops, sensory equipment, gross motor space and a fully equipped sensory/group room
Enjoyfull admin support– clinic software and diaries managed with your input, tailored around how you like to work
Billables & KPIs4–5 billable hours per day worked, depending on experience and caseload complexity
No aggressive KPI bonus scheme– the focus is on quality of care and clinician wellbeing
Support, supervision & development2-week structured inductionwith shadowing
Gradual caseload build over 3 months, at your pace
Weekly supervisionwith the Director, plus access to external supervision if desired
New gradsreceive a12-month preceptorship program
$1,500 annual PD allowancefor external courses
Internal training tailored to what you want to learn and the skills you want to develop
Clearcareer progression– opportunity to step into aTeam Leaderrole as the service expands
What we're looking forTertiary qualification inOccupational TherapyandAHPRA registration
1+ year experience in paediatricsis ideal
Interest in working with children and young people with autism, disability and complex needs
Acollaborative, can-do attitudeand genuine passion for learning
Strong communication skills and afamily-centred approach
