A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our well-established wholesale company, producing high-quality Australian calendars completely in-house.
We are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to jump straight into our production cycle.
This is an initial project-based role with the prospect for further projects for the ideal candidate.
The position is based at our Canning Vale head office.

Artique Designs Pty Ltd is a West Australian-owned, family-run business that has been supplying retailers with popular and exciting ranges in the Home & Giftware industry for over 30 years.
We are a national business who import, export, distribute and design our own products selling to major retailers and a large variety of independent stores nationwide.
About the Role
You will be primarily responsible for bringing our upcoming calendar range to life.
This involves reviewing and selecting stunning imagery from our extensive network of listed photographers, laying out the calendar grids, and ensuring every file is 100% press-ready for production.
Key Responsibilities
·Image Curation:Source, select and edit imagery from our established library of contributing photographers to fit specific Australian themes.
This includes liaising with photographers and staff throughout the process.
·Layout & Design:Create and manage the layout of multiple calendar formats, ensuring meticulous attention to date grids, public holidays and moon phases.
·Pre-Press Production:Prepare high-resolution,



error-free files that are completely press-ready according to our print specifications.
·Project Management:Manage your time effectively and implement team feedback to meet strict printing and production deadlines over the 6-month period.
·Brochure Material:Work with the Graphics team to create sales material relating to the calendars plus other ranges within the company.
Skills and Experience
· Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, ideally with a strong background in print production, publishing or typesetting.
· Expert-level skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularlyInDesign,PhotoshopandIllustrator.
· A sharp eye for commercial imagery and visual storytelling that appeals to the Australian market.
· Exceptional attention to detail - spotting a date alignment error or a typo is second nature to you.
· Strong understanding of pre-press setups, colour profiles (CMYK) and bleed.
