As the business continues to grow across single-dwelling and multi-unit projects, we are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales function and enhance the end-to-end customer experience.
About the Role
Reporting to senior management, the Sales Manager will lead sales performance, support contract progression, and play a key role in shaping customer and developer relationships.
This role combines people leadership, strategic sales oversight, business development and close collaboration with delivery, marketing and customer service teams.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Team Management
• Lead, mentor and support a team of Sales Consultants to achieve sales targets and maintain a high standard of professionalism
• Establish explicit sales processes, performance expectations and reporting
• Actively coach consultants through the full sales lifecycle, from enquiry through to signed contract
Marketing Collaboration
• Work closely with the Marketing team to align sales strategy with campaigns, lead generation, display homes and digital activity
• Provide market feedback to inform product offerings, pricing, promotions and positioning
• Ensure sales messaging is consistent with Oakford Homes' brand and customer value proposition
Contract Administration – Stakeholder Role
• Act as a key stakeholder in the contract administration process, supporting smooth progression from signed sales agreement to construction commencement
• Collaborate with the Contract Administration team to ensure sales documentation, variations and customer selections are accurate and clearly communicated
• Support issue resolution where required, acting as a link between sales, contracts, construction and customers
• Ensure sales commitments align with contractual, regulatory and construction requirements
Customer Service Management




• Oversee and lead the customer service function, ensuring a positive and professional client experience throughout the build journey
• Establish service standards, communication protocols and escalation pathways
• Monitor customer feedback, satisfaction and response times, implementing improvements where required
• Work collaboratively with construction and administration teams to proactively manage customer expectations
Business Development
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities, particularly for multi-unit, townhouse and development sites
• Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, land agents, investors and referral partners
• Contribute to feasibility reviews and sales strategies for development sites
About You
• Demonstrated experience in residential construction or property sales, ideally in a senior or leadership capacity
• Proven ability to lead and motivate sales teams and manage performance outcomes
• Strong understanding of building contracts, sales processes and residential construction workflows
• Experience working collaboratively across marketing, contract administration, customer service and construction teams
• Commercially minded, with business development experience across developer and investor-led projects
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer management skills
• Organised, solutions-focused and comfortable working across multiple stakeholders
