Wollongong Speech Pathologyis an established private practice, operating locally in the Illawarra since ****.
Our mission is to enable adults with communication and swallowing difficulties to live their best lives as part of the Illawarra community.
Wollongong Speech Pathologyhas an opportunity for a compassionate, dedicated, and inclusive Allied Health Assistant to join our mobile team.
About the role:
Permanent part-time, 3 days per week (Mon, Thurs, Fri).
Based in our Unanderra clinic.
Deliver in-clinic and in-community services to adults with communication and swallowing difficulties.
Provide admin support to team as required.
Supervised by an experienced team and supported by our Practice Manager and Admin team.
About the work:
Our AHA service makes a difference to client outcomes.
You will work under the supervision of an experienced speech pathologist.
You will provide direct client services in people's homes and in our Unanderra clinic, develop therapy or education resources that promote a person's safety and wellbeing, participate in group therapy programs, and more.
You will contribute to the overall effective running of our speech pathology service, including providing admin support as required.

Essential skills and experience:
Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance, or equivalent qualification.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently under remote supervision.
Demonstrated time management and organisational skills.
Computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office, and cloud-based programs.
Current drivers' licence and access to your own car.
Valid NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain.
