To further accelerate our growth in line with the global business strategy, we have an opportunityfor a Product Compliance Engineer (ANZ) to join us on a permanent full-time basis.
About You:

You will have:
Bachelor of Mechanical or Electric Engineering (or higher), or an equivalent qualification recognised under the Engineers Australia pathway




Minimum 5 years post-graduate engineering experience in a similar high-compliance industry, or in material handling equipment specifically
Confident reading, interpreting and applying technical standards (Australian, ISO or European)
Strong audit-ready technical writing, sharp analytical skills, and the tenacity to close a problem properly
Engineers Australia membership or CPEng pathway
Current Australian driver's license and willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally
Desirable: AS **** / AS ***** (ISO ****) industrial truck standards; type-testing and certification experience; industrial lithium battery and charger compliance; European product compliance (Machinery Directive *******/EC and Machinery Regulation *********, CE, TUV)
Your Key Responsibilities:
Product compliance to ANZ standards:conformity assessment and gap analysis for every product against the applicable Australian and New Zealand standards, principally the AS **** and AS **** (ISO ****) industrial truck standards, with ISO ***** for risk assessment, plus localisation and market-entry compliance.
Stewardship of compliance documentation:Declarations of Conformity, compliance files, ANZ operating instructions, risk assessments and the certification register,



all version-controlled and audit-ready.
Attachment and accessory engineering, including data plates:design, verification (FEA and structural calculation), certification, and rating and data plate authorship for the locally fitted attachment and accessory range.
Electrical compliance for batteries and chargers:lithium-ion traction batteries and their chargers, covering battery and charger safety, EMC under the ACMA RCM, and battery transport, anchored on AS IEC ***** for industrial batteries.
Standards monitoring and audit readiness:tracking standards and regulatory change, leading CAPA and NCR engineering responses, and closing out internal and external audits.
