About Our Client
Our client is a 100% Aboriginal-owned civil contractor specialising in civil construction, infrastructure, and maintenance across Australia.
They have recently undertaken large projects in North Queensland and are looking for reliable safety focused individiduals to join their crew.
We are currently seeking experienced civil labourers and machine operators to fill multiple roles.
Machinery including Excavator, Watercart, Moxy, Posi track, Dozer etc.
What you will be doing
Plant Operator
Operating earthmoving machinery in line with relevant licences, tickets, and experience
Carry out routine pre-start inspections and assist with the general upkeep of equipment
Maintain safe work practices while operating around other machinery and site personnel
Assist the crew with trimming, backfilling, loading, and other general labouring and site duties
Bulk earthworks/trenching/final trim (if applicable)

General labouring duties




Using basic hand tools and maintaining equipment
Reading and using measurement tools
Site running
Spotting machienery
What You Will Need:
White Card
Relevant RII tickets & experience for listed machinery (if applying as an operator)
Prior civil construction experience (preferred)
Valid drivers licence and reliable transport (requirement)
Solid physical fitness and able to work 10 hour days in outdoor conditions
Positive attitude and robust work ethic
