North Queensland X-ray Services (Townsville) is looking for an experienced Sonographer to join our multidisciplinary team.
We are seeking anexperienced Sonographerwho prides themselves on quality patient care and demonstrates a commitment to clinical quality, teamwork, and professional growth.
About Us:
North Queensland X-ray Services is a Queensland owned company aiming to provide the community of Townsville and surrounds with quality imaging services whilst keeping out of pocket costs at a minimum by Bulk Billing the majority of the services provided.
We have various locations around the Townsville area with modalities offered including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Interventional Procedures, Digital X-ray, BMD and OPG and Nuclear Medicine.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality ultrasound services while working collaboratively within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
Key responsibilities include:
· Performing General, MSK, Obstetrics and Vascular Examinations
· Delivering a friendly and patient-focused experience
· Working closely with Radiologists and clinical teams
· Ensuring accuracy,



consistency, and compliance with clinical protocols

You will bring:
· Current ASAR accreditation
· Experience in a variety of scans such as General, MSK, Obstetrics and Vascular
· Excellent time management skills
· Professional, reliable, and cooperative work style
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Experience using top of the range GE and Philips equipment is desirable
