Latrobe Plumbing & Asbestos Specialists is an established trade services company based in Morwell, delivering plumbing, asbestos removal, carpentry and building services throughout Gippsland.
We're primarily looking for a qualified plumber to join our team.
However, we also recognise that the right attitude is just as important as qualifications.
If you're looking to start a mature-age plumbing apprenticeship, or you're an experienced tradesperson (such as a carpenter or similar) wanting to complete plumbing as a second trade, we'd also love to hear from you.
Our work extends far beyond traditional plumbing.
We undertake residential and commercial plumbing, insurance rectification, bathroom and kitchen renovations, asbestos removal, carpentry, make-safe works and general building repairs.
Whether you enjoy maintenance, renovations, insurance work or commercial projects, you'll have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of jobs while continuing to develop your skills.
About the Role
You'll become part of a close-knit team working on a wide variety of projects across Gippsland.
Your work may include:
Residential and commercial plumbing
Maintenance and repairs
Bathroom, kitchen and laundry renovations
Insurance repair and restoration works
New plumbing installations
Roofing and drainage works
Working alongside our carpentry and asbestos removal teams on integrated projects
Providing professional service and advice to our clients
No two weeks are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, problem solving and takes pride in their work.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is reliable, motivated and wants to be part of a team that values quality workmanship.
Ideally, you will have:
A Victorian plumbing registration, or be eligible to commence a mature-age plumbing apprenticeship.




A current driver's licence.
A White Card.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Pride in your workmanship and attention to detail.
The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
A willingness to learn and continually improve.
Previous experience in construction, carpentry or another trade will be highly regarded if you're looking to undertake a plumbing apprenticeship.
