The Role We currently have a vacancy for suitably qualified and experienced Electrician on day shift.
You will join a highly motivated and experienced team who provide excellent, time critical service ensuring the reliability of the Castlemaine site.
This role is a permanent full-time opportunity, working Monday - Friday from 6:00am - 2:30pm
Purpose of the Role
Diagnose and resolve equipment electrical breakdowns efficiently, minimizing downtime and maintaining productivity in a secure mannerCollaborate with other maintenance and production team members to communicate equipment status, particularly during shift changesMaintain safety and compliance standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all team membersIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiencyWorking with the Maintenance Manager and Supervisors to conduct root cause analysis on failures and ensuring follow up on identified actionsMaintaining all registers, logs and systems to track repairs, notifications and work activitiesDevelop & maintain a close and collaborative working relationships across the Maintenance, Production, Planning and Engineering teamsConduct root cause analysis on failures and ensuring follow up on identified actions
About You
Minimum "A" Grade Electrician Trade qualificationA safety mindset with a strong commitment to ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and othersCan work and communicate well in a team environmentSound understanding of reactive, preventative and predictive maintenance systems and techniquesSound knowledge of high-speed packaging equipment, bearings, seals, shaft repair, conveying systems, etcSound analytical and problem-solving skillsGreat organisational and time management skillsAble to work independently, with minimal supervision
