Selected Plumbing is a commercial plumbing and hydraulic services contractor based in Willetton, Western Australia.
The company has been in business for over 40 years and works across health, education, aged care, local government and private sector projects, from design through to construction.
Our team of more than 60 plumbers, apprentices, supervisors and support staff has built a reputation with builders, architects and consulting engineers for delivering projects on time and to a high standard.
Role Overview
As a Plumber, you will carry out the installation and commissioning of hydraulic services on commercial construction sites across Perth.
You will work from plans and specifications under the direction of our site supervisors, and you will be expected to produce compliant, quality work while keeping to program on live construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret drawings, plans and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required.
Install below-ground drainage, sanitary plumbing and sewerage systems on commercial sites.




Install hot and cold water services, including pipework, fixtures, valves and associated equipment.
Cut, thread, bend, join and secure pipes using hand and power tools.
Assemble and install plumbing fixtures, appliances and equipment, including pumping and pressure-regulating equipment.
Pressure-test pipework and inspect installed systems for leaks and defects.
Carry out work in accordance with AS/NZS ****, the Plumbing Code of Australia and WA regulatory requirements.
Complete site documentation, including test records and as-constructed information.
Maintain a safe work area and follow company and principal contractor safety procedures at all times.
Assist with supervising and mentoring apprentices on site as required.
Key Qualities & Skills
Certificate III in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification)
At least one years of experience, preferably on commercial projects.
Plumbing Tradesperson registration with the Plumbers Licensing Board of WA, or eligibility to obtain it.
Construction Induction (White Card).
Current driver's licence.
Able to read and set out from hydraulic drawings and specifications.
Sound knowledge of AS/NZS **** and commercial installation standards.
