The role
This is a hands-on role with a majority focus on maintenance and a varied role involving grounds care, making it ideal for someone who enjoys practical repairs while helping maintain attractive outdoor spaces.
Your impact
Complete general maintenance and minor repairs across village buildings and shared facilitiesRespond promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring a secure environment for residentsMaintain the presentation of outdoor areas, pathways and communal spacesCarry out light gardening, including pruning, planting, mulching and general garden upkeepOperate and maintain equipment safely and efficientlyBuild positive relationships with residents, contractors and the wider village team

You'll Bring
Experience in maintenance, handyman, facilities or property maintenance rolesPractical skills across general repairs and preventative maintenanceA proactive, self-motivated approach with excellent time managementStrong customer service and communication skillsThe ability to prioritise tasks and work independentlyBasic computer literacy
Experience in retirement living, schools, councils or large community environments will be highly regarded.
A trade qualification, gardening qualification or experience driving a 12-seater bus would also be advantageous.
