We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance and grounds operations at our Salem Aged Care facility.
This is a excellent opportunity for someone with a trade or construction background who enjoys combining hands-on maintenance with team leadership, planning and contractor coordination.
You'll play a key role in ensuring our facilities remain safe, well maintained and welcoming for residents, staff and visitors.
Location:Toowoomba - QLDRole Type: Full Time | Monday to Friday | On-call recall where applicable
Remuneration: $*****ph + Super + Salary Packaging + Access to staff discounts & benefits.
What You'll Be Doing
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations while supporting the Service Manager to ensure buildings, grounds and equipment are maintained to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and supporting the Grounds & Maintenance teamPlanning, coordinating and monitoring maintenance schedules and worksUndertaking maintenance and repair work in line with your skills and qualificationsCoordinating contractors, tradespeople and external suppliersProviding advice on building maintenance, improvements and minor projectsManaging maintenance systems, work requests and documentationMonitoring equipment, chemicals and maintenance suppliesEnsuring compliance with Workplace Health & Safety requirementsSupporting fire safety compliance,



servicing and documentationParticipating in an on-call recall roster where required.
What We're Looking For
Experience in construction, building maintenance, a trade or facilities maintenance environmentExperience supervising or leading a small maintenance teamStrong knowledge of building maintenance, grounds or facilities managementExcellent communication and organisational skillsA proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvementA commitment to safe work practices and quality outcomesA current Driver's Licence & obtain and maintain a National Police Check.
