We are seeking an experiencedMine Engineeron an 8/6 or 12/9 roster, residential in Charters Towers, DIDO or FIFO for the right candidate.
This hands-on role is ideal for a skilled mining engineer with underground drill & blast experience and the ability to mentor and guide others.
About the Role
As a Mine Engineer, you will play a hands-on role in the planning and execution of underground mining activities.
Key responsibilities include:
Drill and blast design and implementation
Explosives management, ordering,
and stocktake
Preparation of backfill and weekly mine plans
Data entry, reporting, and analysis (daily/weekly/monthly)
Supporting Supervisors and underground operations
Conducting inspections of underground workings
Regular engagement with stakeholders to review and improve mine plans
What You'll Bring
Degree in Mining Engineering (or equivalent)
1-7 years' underground production engineering experience
Proficiency with Deswik and Microsoft Office suite
Robust planning, problem-solving, and communication skills
Sound understanding of drill & blast design.
