We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Property Manager & Leasing Consultant to join our dynamic team servicing a diverse portfolio, in a flexible full time or part time capacity.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive property professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, managing commercial assets, and driving leasing outcomes.
You'll be responsible for a well-maintained portfolio of approx 130 tenancies, while also playing a key role in securing and negotiating new commercial leases.
About The Role
Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a mixed use commercial property portfolio, while actively managing leasing opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing a portfolio of approx 130 commercial, industrial and retail properties.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and tenants.
Coordinating lease renewals, rent reviews and market reviews.
Preparing and negotiating Heads of Agreement, assignment of leases and lease documentation.
Conducting property inspections and ensuring compliance with lease obligations.
Managing maintenance requests and coordinating contractors.
Monitoring arrears and overseeing tenant accounts.
Marketing vacant properties across online and traditional channels.
Conducting inspections with prospective tenants.
Negotiating lease terms to maximise occupancy and returns for clients.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Previous experience in commercial property management is essential.
Commercial leasing experience or a strong interest in expanding your leasing expertise.
A current Victorian Agent's Representative Certificate or Estate Agent Licence.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
A customer-focused and skilled approach.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and commercial property software (PropertyTree or similar is advantageous).
A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
