About the Role
As a Building Designer at Medallion Homes, you will play a key role in the design and development of some of South Australia's finest custom homes, from concept through to detailed documentation.
Working within a collaborative and supportive environment, you will partner closely with clients and sales consultants, engineers, construction professionals and selections coordinators to create homes that are both visually inspiring and highly functional.
Key Responsibilities
Develop innovative and practical residential home designs tailored to client requirements.
Prepare concept plans and detailed construction documentation using Revit.
Produce high-quality 3D visualisations to communicate design intent.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure designs meet technical, aesthetic and budget requirements.
Ensure documentation complies with relevant building codes, regulations and industry standards.
Conduct research on products to support the design process.
Assist in resolving design and construction challenges through practical and creative solutions.
Stay current with industry trends, materials, technologies and best practices.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of design systems,



processes and standards.
About You
You are passionate about luxury residential design, have a strong eye for detail and aesthetics, and enjoy creating exceptional homes that exceed client expectations.
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
2–5 years' experience in a Building Designer, Architectural Designer or similar role, ideally within high-end residential construction.
A formal qualification in Building Design, Architecture, Drafting or a related discipline.
Advanced proficiency in Revit and other industry-standard design software.
Strong design, technical drawing and 3D modelling capabilities.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Sound knowledge of residential construction methods, building regulations and documentation requirements.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
The ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
A proactive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to continue learning and developing your skills.
