About the RoleThe Department provides therapeutic residential care in 16 metropolitan and 11 country houses that care for children with a range of ages and abilities, including The Kath French Secure Care Centre which provides short-term intensive therapeutic care to vulnerable children who are presenting with high-risk behaviours.
Care is provided in all these services by trained staff who undertake shifts using a rotating roster model.
The Business Manager role is responsible for managing the day to day financial, physical, and human resources aspects of Therapeutic Care Services operations for both metropolitan and country services and administering all Divisional support activities, including information management and risk management
This position provides advice and consultancy to the Directors and Assistant Directors to develop the Division's Business Plans and oversees the Division's business performance against those Plans, and provides advice on all business matters to ensure the Division meets Corporate objectives and Directorate and Corporate reporting requirements are achieved.
