The Opportunity
This role combines hands-on recruitment delivery with broader business influence.




You'll manage a successful 360-degree recruitment desk while partnering with clients across Adelaide's business community to solve talent challenges and deliver exceptional outcomes.
You'll also play an important role in sharing knowledge, contributing to team success, and helping foster the positive culture that SMAART is known for.
Your responsibilities will include:
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across temporary and permanent opportunities
Develop and maintain strong client partnerships
Identify opportunities for account growth and business development
Source, assess, and secure top talent
Deliver outstanding candidate and client experiences
Provide guidance and support to junior recruiters where required
Contribute to team capability and performance
Attend networking, industry, and client events
Build and nurture talent communities within your specialist market
About You
You're an experienced recruiter who understands both the commercial and human side of recruitment.
You're confident building relationships, driving revenue, and influencing outcomes, while also being someone people naturally turn to for advice and support.
You'll Bring
3+ years' experience within agency recruitment
Experience recruiting across professional, corporate, business support, sales, marketing, customer service, or other white-collar markets
Solid business development and client management capability




Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting developing recruiters, or a desire to take on a broader leadership role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented mindset
The ability to influence, negotiate, and build credibility with clients and candidates alike
A down-to-earth, team-first approach
