About the Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will take accountability fordaily business operations, project delivery, tendering, and financial performanceacross FGI Developments.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a balance ofstrategic oversight and operational execution, with a strong focus onP&L; performance, growth, and team capability.
Key Responsibilities
Leadday-to-day operationsacross all civil and development projects
Driveproject performance, delivery outcomes, and client satisfaction
Overseetendering, estimating, and work-winning activities
Own and manageP&L;, budgets, forecasting, and cost control
Build, lead,



and develop ahigh-performing operations team
Identify and securenew business opportunities and growth markets
Ensure compliance withWHS, environmental, and legislative requirements
Strengthen relationships withclients, contractors, and key stakeholders
Implement systems and processes to supportscalable business growth
About You
You are a results-driven leader with a strong background in civil construction and a passion for building high-performing teams and businesses.
Proven experience in aGeneral Manager / Senior Operations Leadership role
Strong background incivil construction and large-scale project delivery
Demonstrated experience managingP&L; and commercial performance
Proven success in tendering, securing projects, and drivingbusiness growth
Ability to lead and scale teams in agrowth-phase environment
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Strong operational and strategic capability—boardroom to site
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (essential)
