As the Security Officer, you'll play a key role in protecting the KONGSBERG Missile Factory and enabling the successful delivery of critical sovereign defence capability.
Working across physical, personnel and information security, you'll help safeguard our people, technology and operations while fostering a strong security culture.
About the Role
Act as the initial point of contact for site security matters.
Support the development, application and maintenance of security policies, procedures, plans and registers in line with the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) guidelines.
Assist in managing personal security clearances, associated actions and sponsored staff requirements.
Contribute to security education,
induction and awareness programs for staff, contractors, and suppliers.
Assist with investigations into suspected or confirmed breaches, liaising with relevant agencies as required.
Support physical security standards, ensuring compliance with Defence and company requirements.
Provide advice to management, staff and suppliers on security obligations for both personal and program activities.
Collaborate with the company IT and Cyber Security teams.
Liaise with Defence, Commonwealth and other security organisations as required.
Support security accreditation processes and associated reporting.
Undertake security assurance activities as required.
What You'll Bring
Previous experience as a Security Officer in Defence or Government.
Working knowledge of the DSPF or PSPF and ISM.
Understanding of HB167:**** - Security Risk Management
Experience with Communications Security (desirable).
Completion of DISP Security Officer training (desirable).
Mandatory Requirements:
Must be able to access information controlled under the US International Traffic of Arms Regulations (ITAR)
Must be able to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance.
