The Opportunity
As a result of the company's continued growth, we are now looking for suitably qualified and experiencedMechanical Fittersto join our Henderson team for ongoing maintenanceDefence works.
To succeed in this position, you will need to have marine industry related experience on ANZAC Class Frigates, coupled with a strong work ethic and strong safety focus.
To be successful for this position, the following skills/qualifications would be looked upon favourably:
Australian Citizen
Australian Recognised Trade Qualification
Australian Drivers Licence
Confined Space
Working at Heights
First Attack for Fire
OHS Construction White card
Marine Experience (Desirable)
Ability to obtain a Criminal Police clearance
Suitability to obtain security clearance
Experience in valve overhauls, pipe fitting and pressure testing requirements
Experience on lathes and workshop equipment
Understanding of ANZAC machinery systems
