CP RENOVATION AND CONSTRUCTION PTY LTD About the Role This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to work on a variety of residential renovation and construction projects.
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality tiling work while ensuring compliance with Australian building standards, workplace safety requirements, and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities Examine plans, drawings and project specifications to determine tiling layouts, material quantities and installation requirements.
Measure, mark and prepare wall and floor surfaces for tiling by cleaning, levelling and applying waterproofing membranes where required.
Cut, shape and finish ceramic, porcelain, stone, mosaic and other tiling materials using specialised hand and power tools.
Lay wall and floor tiles in accordance with design specifications to achieve accurate alignment, spacing and pattern consistency.
Mix, apply and spread adhesives, mortar and grout to ensure secure installation and long-lasting finishes.
Install decorative borders, feature tiles and custom patterns where specified by clients or project plans.
Remove damaged or defective tiles and carry out repairs or replacement work while maintaining existing finishes.
Check completed work to ensure quality standards, level surfaces and compliance with Australian construction requirements.
Interpret technical drawings and coordinate with supervisors and other construction trades to ensure productive project delivery.
Maintain tools, equipment and a clean, safe work environment in accordance with workplace health and safety regulations.
Skills & Experience Relevant trade qualification equivalent to Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling or overseas equivalent.




Minimum of 2 years' relevant post-qualification experience (or at least 3 years' relevant experience where no formal qualification is held).
Demonstrated experience installing ceramic, porcelain, stone and other wall and floor tiling products.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Sound knowledge of waterproofing systems, adhesives, grouts and Australian tiling practices.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a construction team.
Strong problem-solving, communication and time-management skills.
Commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
Current driver's licence will be advantageous.
