The Accountant Role:
You'll be responsible for assisting the accounting team to deliver high-quality compliance and technical support.
The duties you will undertake will include (but not limited to):
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns
Supporting accountants with compliance work across individuals, companies, trusts and other entities
Managing workflow efficiently across a high volume of jobs with strong attention to detail
Undertaking research and assisting with technical accounting and taxation queries
Providing internal support to client-facing team members to ensure excellent outcomes for clients




Assisting with the completion of less complex group structures and compliance projects
Contributing to continuous improvement of internal processes and the use of technology
Working collaboratively with the team to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met

Skills & Experience
Degree in Accounting
5+ years' experience in public practice or similar role
Strong understanding of accounting and taxation principles
Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB or similar
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly Desirable
Experience working withSMSFs
Experience inreviewing SMSF financial statements and compliance

This is a full time role in our Gawler Office.
Your salary will be competitive based on experience.
