Role Description The Student Recruitment Officer is a part-time, on-site role based in Surfers Paradise, QLD.
In this position, the officer identifies and engages prospective students through various channels, including school visits, local partnerships, events, and walk-in inquiries.
The role involves conducting information sessions, responding to inquiries, guiding candidates through the application and enrolment process, and maintaining accurate records in student management systems.
The officer collaborates with marketing and academic teams to support promotional campaigns, develop recruitment materials,



and ensure a positive experience for applicants from first contact through enrolment.
Qualifications and experience Experience in student recruitment, admissions, or sales, with strong skills in relationship building and stakeholder engagement.Proficiency in communication, including clear verbal communication, professional email writing, and confident presentation skills.Ability to use CRM or student management systems, along with solid general computer skills (e.g., MS Office, online forms, databases).
Strong organisation and time-management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple enquiries and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Customer service mindset, with the ability to provide supportive, inclusive guidance to prospective students from diverse backgrounds.Knowledge of vocational education and training (VET) or higher education sectors is desirable, especially within RTO environments.Formal qualifications in marketing, business, education, or a related field are advantageous but not mandatory.Availability to work on-site in Surfers Paradise, QLD, including occasional evenings or weekends for events if required.Spanish speaker highly recommended
