The Role
By remaining committed to specialising in Early Childhood Education and Care,
and having a heritage of owning and operating childcare centres to the highest standard of service delivery, we believe we have a unique offering in the training market.

We are now looking to attract into the college a VET sector Compliance and Audit specialist on a part time consultancy to oversee the RTO's adherence to VET Standards and State based funding contracts.
We're seeking a passionate VET compliance Consultant.
Duties
This will require a driven individual with exceptional people skills that can review practices within the functional areas of the RTO (marketing, compliance, student services) and assess and report on risks and proactively implement best practices.
Having recently introduced compliance software to house all of the RTO's key contracts and VET Standards obligations, this role will effectively oversee this data and action tasks as prompted via the platform's automated reporting.
This is a dynamic role and can be based at KKTC's head office in Southport, Gold Coast or remotely managed from home/office.
It would suit an individual who has worked in the RTO sector for 10+ years in a comparable role whether that be with TAFE or a Private RTO.
Key Responsibilities:
· Review and report on adherence to ASQA standards across all functions of the RTO
· Identify current risks and proactively plan for future risk mitigation in core service areas
· Think outside the square to introduce new practices in compliance monitoring to safeguard the RTO from risks
· Be responsible for quality assurance working with internal teams, short term project specific working groups and other stakeholders to ensure training practices, resources meet regulatory standards.
· Provide oversight on funding contracts, reporting practices and ensure internal teams are meeting the requirements of contracts across States where the RTO delivers training.
· Present to the executive team on any potential for risks and flag any behaviours observed in practices that are not meeting the high standards set by the RTO.
· Oversee the regular 'mock' external audit.
· Future proof practices and stay informed about VET updates and legislative / statutory developments that can impact the RTO.
· Be the advocate for technological innovation in identifying use of new technologies including AI that can reduce risks and enhance productivity across the RTO
What We're Looking For

Minimum 10+ years experience in a compliance or senior role within an RTO or currently running a VET consultancy
Relevant quals notably Certificate IV in Training and Assessment / Diploma of Quality Auditing or similar
Self-driven, results oriented individual with ability to critically assess own performance
Strong interpersonal and consultative skills
Track record of RTO compliance excellence
