About the OSHC Manager: Nominated Supervisor Role
Full-time permanent position playing a vital part ensuring the smooth, professional operation of the OSHC Service.
Your leadership will support a team of educators, uphold high standard of care and supervision, and bring approved learning frameworks through programs children enjoy and benefit from.
In this role, the successful applicant will:
Lead engaging OSHC programs across before school, afterschool and vacation care,
Working closely with the Operations Manager and P&C; Committee as well as Education Leader and Team to deliver safe, fun, meaningful and educational experiences for children Meet National Laws and Legislation.
Familiarity with National Education and Care Service Laws and Regulations advantageous Demonstrated ability to uphold ECA Code of Ethics and maintain licensing and operational standard to a high level sought or ability to learn the relevant legislation will be the key to your success in this OSCH Manager: Nominated Supervisor position.
Essential Criteria: Skills & Experience
· Strongteam leadership, financial, business acumen and decision making in a highly regulated or compliance based environment- education, legal, Community Services
·Experienced with rostering, mentoring, and fostering a positive, supportive and professional team culture that enhances program quality.
· Demonstratedexperience managing key administrative and financial processes including attendance records, enrolment communication, CCS submissions, and follow up of outstanding accountsto ensure smooth, accurate and timely operations.




· Build strong relationships with children and families by understanding their needs, supporting their wellbeing, and ensuring programs reflect their interests and developmental goals.
· Contribute creatively and energetically to a vibrant school community, bringing enthusiasm, initiative and a commitment to high quality care that makes a lasting impact on children's growth and confidence.
About You
To be successful in this role your application should demonstrate:
A committed to children's wellbeing, bringing a genuine interest in the development of primary aged students and a passion for creating inclusive, engaging and meaningful experiences.
Knowledgeable about OSHC compliance, or willingness to understand Education and Care Services Laws, Regulations and the National Quality Standard or the ability and motivation to learn quickly and apply them confidently.
Demonstrated compliance-based Coordination or Management role adhering to laws, legislation and strict workplace policies and procedures
Organised and detail driven, demonstrating excellent time management, accuracy in administrative tasks, and the ability to coordinate multiple responsibilities smoothly
A confident team leader who can guide, mentor and support educators while fostering a positive, collaborative and professional team culture
Clear communicator with well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to resolve conflict respectfully and professionally.
Strengths in designing engaging community or children programs and activities, nurturing family relationships and championing inclusive practice so every child feels seen, valued and supported.




Confident with Microsoft Office and open to learning current digital platforms that support teaching, documentation and communication.
Essential Qualifications*
Compliance based Service manager from a highly regulated industry or compliance based environment.
Positions such as Business Manager, Supervisory or Management level highly desirable.
IMPORTANT:The Qualifications and Certificates listed below, applicants must be willing to obtain and or maintain during their employment in the Nominated Supervisor position:
*Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or similar qualification) or working towards attainment
*Certificate – CPR (HLTAID009) (or willing to attain)
*Certificate - First Aid in an Education Setting (HLTAID012) (or willing to attain)
*Child Protection (Geccko) Certificate or ability to obtain

What's On Offer!
Full Time Permanent Opportunity flexibility regarding hours negotiable.
Monday to Friday hours.
Some flexibility will be required on occasions to meet the needs of the service.
Option for 4 longer days or a 9 day fortnight.
Above Award Rates!
$100k -$105k + 12% superannuation.
Cairns based onsite.
