With a brand-new facility in Morisset, Lake Macquarie, we are dedicated to fostering innovation, precision, and growth in our industry.We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Payroll and Accounts Officer to become an integral part of our Finance & Administration team.
This full-time role is pivotal in managing the weekly end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for a diverse workforce.
The successful candidate will also provide support across both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and purpose-driven team, while enhancing payroll operations within a supportive, high-performance environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess weekly payroll, including onboarding current employees, terminations, and leave applications.Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies.Manage payroll queries and maintain highly confidential employee records.Calculate workers' compensation, long service leave entitlements, and other employee benefits.Review & process monthly Credit Card Expense FormsAccounts Payable Process, Review,



Pay & ReconcileAccounts Receivable Process, Review & ReconcileMonthly Superannuation Review, Reconcile, Process & PayWeekly PAYG Review, Reconcile, Process & PayProcess weekly payroll journalsPerform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted forProvide support and training for staff on payroll systems and procedures.Essential CriteriaMinimum of 3 years' experience in high-volume payroll processing, ideally managing pay runs for over 100 employeesDemonstrated hands-on experience with MYOB PayrollStrong knowledge of awards, EBAs, taxation, superannuation, and payroll legislationProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables)Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.High-level interpersonal and communication abilities.Australian work rights are required for this positionDesirable CriteriaCertificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping.NetSuite experience
