About the Role
We are seeking either:
A qualified Automotive Vehicle Examiner (AVE),or
An experienced Light Vehicle Technician who is interested in training into the AVE role
This is a full-time position with some flexibility in working hours for the right person.
In this role, you will:
Carry out Department of Transport inspections in line with DOT standards and regulations
Complete general servicing and mechanical repairs as required
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work workplace
Produce clear and accurate inspection and service reports

About You




Along with having a strong work ethic and at least 2 - 3 years of post qualification experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic you'll have/be:
Full Australian working rights and be resident in Perth at the time of submitting your application
Highly experienced, motivated, and reliable
A strong communicator with clear reporting skills
Able to work well in a team and also operate efficiently without supervision
A good cultural fit who shares our values, ethics, and approach to work
Hold a Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis - essential
Knowledgeable in modern vehicle electronics and engine management systems
Strong in diagnostics and fault-finding
Authorised Vehicle Examiner preferred, but not essential, as training can be provided
Hold a current WA police clearance and manual drivers licence
Air-conditioning licence advantageous
