We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our growing team.
Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Vehicle Operation: Drive a truck to transport goods to assigned locations, adhering to traffic laws and company guidelines.
Load Management: Oversee the loading and unloading of cargo, utilizing appropriate equipment and methods to ensure safe handling and placement.
Safety Compliance: Follow established safety procedures during loading, driving, and unloading to ensure the protection of cargo and vehicle integrity.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular vehicle inspections and perform minor repairs as needed to maintain the truck in optimal working condition.
Weight Distribution: Manage and assess load weights to comply with legal weight limits and ensure balanced distribution for safe vehicle operation.




Cargo Security: Secure all cargo properly and cover it as necessary to prevent damage or loss during transit.
Documentation: Verify loading documents, inspect the condition of goods, and obtain delivery confirmations and necessary signatures.
Communication: Provide regular updates to dispatch and management regarding delivery status, any issues, or delays encountered.
Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a professional manner during deliveries, addressing any questions or special requests.
Adhering to delivery schedules and adjusting routes based on traffic or weather conditions.
Reporting accidents, incidents, or vehicle issues to management immediately.
Participating in training programs to stay updated on industry practices and regulatory changes.
Assisting with administrative and logistical tasks as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant roles.
Other Skills and Requirements:
Valid heavy vehicle license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a truck driver with a strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
Proficiency in operating various types of trucks and lifting equipment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Physical stamina for long periods of driving and handling heavy loads.
Strong communication and customer service skills
